Use Cases and Deployment Scope

And Backup to Tape with the backups that Veeam created from our virtual and standalone servers. To restore data if something is missing or was accidentally deleted. And using a it to monitor if a server is outrunning memory.
Pros
- Backup Data to Disk & Tape
- Restore Data from Disk
- Monitor Server Usage
Cons
- Automatically erase Tape and put it into the tape pool.
- SQL Data Backup
Likelihood to Recommend
For Backups to disk, Veeam is well-suited, but when it comes to backup to tape, it's not so good. It could be better with backup to tape. Indeed, when you want it to automatically erase and add tapes to the Tape Pool or mark the tape as free so Veeam can start backups on it.
