Great Ticketing System for Small to Medium-Sized Events

We host a number of events for our members, and we use Ticket Tailor for all ticket sales.

Pros

  • Setup of new events is super-easy
  • Very easy for members to purchase tickets
  • Refunds are seamless
  • Integrates well with Stripe

Cons

  • The landing pages don't have a lot of design flexibility
  • Would like more control over our branding throughout the ticketing process

Likelihood to Recommend

If you want to quickly and easily sell tickets to an event without a lot of hassle or absurd fees, this is a great platform.

I'm not sure this would work well for complex, multi-tiered ticket sales for events that have thousands of tickets.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used TicketTailor as the online ticket sales platform for our first production. We needed a solution that would allow us to provide multiple discount codes and multiple price levels: adults, seniors, students. We are a small, nonprofit theatre company so that affordability, flexibility, and ease of use are of paramount considerations.

Pros

  • Affordable.
  • Allows multiple discount codes and multiple price levels.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • WordPress plug-in that worked flawlessly.

Cons

  • Online knowledge base could be expanded. I had questions that were not included in the FAQs - but were quickly answered via chat.

Ticket Tailor is very well suited to nonprofit theatre since there is a discount for nonprofits. We sold tickets for 8 separate performances at different price points and with different discount codes at no extra cost. A big plus was the ability to set our own ticket service charge. Setting up the original ticket levels and discount codes for multiple dates were easy. They could be copied from one date to another. Making a change or addition was not as easy to accomplish. Each individual date had to be edited separately.
