## Key Features

**TextMarks SMS Request/Response**: Riders can easily request real-time arrival information by sending a text message to a short code. TextMarks retrieves the accurate schedule/arrival data from the transit agency's server and sends it back to the rider within seconds.

**TextMarks SMS Alerts**: Transit agencies can send system-wide text alerts to riders who subscribe to the service. These alerts include temporary route changes, new schedules, stop relocations, additions, and eliminations. Riders can subscribe to alerts through the transit agency's website or by texting a designated keyword.

**SMS Auto Responder API**: Users have access to a custom "SMS Auto-Responder" that provides on-demand information via text message. Users send a message with a specific keyword to a phone number or SMS short code, and TextMarks servers retrieve the requested information from the user's server and forward it as a text message response.

**SMS Sending API**: Users can send individual or mass text messages to their users by making an HTTP request to TextMarks' API server. TextMarks ensures near-instant delivery of the messages, allowing users to notify their users for various purposes. Users can also build their own user list by having users text a specific keyword to a unique SMS short code.
