Screenful is well suited for Jira Sprint Planning Visualisations

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Screenful offers easy integration with Jira. We use Screenful to help monitor progress of development sprints. It helps with burn down charts, planned vs actual dev work completed, and forecasting. We have IT teams working in several countries so screen casrlting and the ability to set refresh rates or refresh on demand gives management a clear up to date picture on tracking against milestones.

Pros

  • Burndown charts.
  • Milestone completion.
  • Team task allocation and man hours spent.

Cons

  • monday.com dashboards are not that much more sophisticated than the one directly available.
  • Would love to see Screenful infographics, which are a step above the dynamic charts. Infographics tend to be more captivating to business users.

Likelihood to Recommend

Screenful works really well when integrated with Jira and Github, both of which do not have the robust data visualisation capability.

In contrast, we tried using it for Monday.com but did not see much added value there.

A great tool for collaborative teams!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used it to collate my reports and project management tasks. One of the main business problems the platform solves was giving the same live environment to reports, KPI dashboards, and tasks. The best example of this was the agency dashboard that we used to keep our team updated on tasks and the management involved in terms of KPIs and metrics of the ongoing campaigns.

Pros

  • Collaborative dashboard to get data from other integrations.
  • The user experience was really easy and effective.
  • It is really cost effective compared to some of the other similar platforms out there.

Cons

  • I feel there is room for improvement when it comes to supporting guides, knowledge centers.
  • Also, customer support options might a good resource to have.
  • I have always liked tools that show what similar teams are doing to use the tool. Like a case study. I did not find that here.

Likelihood to Recommend

I feel for collaborative teams who like to work together, Screenful can be a really effective platform. For example, I clearly see the benefit for sales, account management, and marketing teams to collaborate using this dashboard. When I used it, it really made our work easy. On the flip side, I feel teams who rather work in silos, this tool is not a good return on investment.
