Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have hired staff globally to support our local clients. These consultants have been based in their respective home countries. We have been using Remote since 2021 to meet our payroll compliance obligations in up to 3 different countries. Remote has been great to sort contracts, taxes and benefits in countries we were not familiar with.
Pros
- Great customer service, very responsive and helpful
- Very clear information on the breakdown of employment cost
- Available in many countries
- Features have been improving over time
Cons
- In the past, we had a lot of issues with invoicing, but Remote resolved the problem in late 2021
- Payment is only available in USD, GBP and EUR
Likelihood to Recommend
Remote is well suited to hire global staff globally, that's their core business. From onboarding employees, to manage monthly payroll, leave, benefits and incentives...
They also offer international contractor management for free, but it's not something we have been needing.
We haven't had any needs outside of this scope yet.
