Great experience so far.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Opensend to identify unknown visitors to our sites and collect their email addresses. This allows us to contact more visitors with a customized and personalized message to try to win their business. It's been especially helpful for our browse, cart, and checkout abandonment flows. It's also been a great way to grow our contact list with warm leads.

Pros

  • Implementation was incredibly easy, and their team did most of the work for us.
  • Team is very communicative and always willing to jump on a call to help with questions.
  • The team is also very knowledgeable and listens to my concerns while offering great suggestions.
  • The team is not overly pushy to add additional features.

Cons

  • I wish they had the ability to qualify the email leads for us.

Likelihood to Recommend

Opensend is great for businesses trying to build their contact list and gain a little extra revenue. It's great for small teams that aren't looking to take on a huge project to get a new service up and running, but want a great partner to help them get things going, and will be a helpful partner going forward.

Easily Build An Engaged Owned Audience

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Opensend to collect emails from high intent site visitors, and re-market to them via email, and on other paid platforms.

Our email capture rates through native forms were poor, and we broughout on Opensend to accelerate our email collection, and send highly-targeted email flows to recent site visitors, delivering impressive ROAS along the way.

Pros

  • Email Collection
  • Email Sending Provider Integration
  • Re-Marketing

Cons

  • Optimizing Visitor Quality
  • More User Centric Control Over Collection Filtering Rules
  • Plans The Automatically Flex Down And Up Based On Monthly Usage

Likelihood to Recommend

For those looking to build their prospect emails fast, Opensend makes it fast, easy, and compliant. We are able to rapidly build a list of high intent prospects, and continuously re-market to them via email (owned) as well as paid channels. Instead of paying for a user again and again, Opensend enables us to target them via owned channels to optimize our ad spend, and increase our overall marketing ROAS.

Super easy to use and implement great customer support

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Opensend allows us to capture emails of people who visit our website but don't put in their contact information. This helps us to increase revenue by sending additional emails and campaigns to individuals who would not have received them otherwise. We've seen a significant lift in revenue driven by our Opensend email flows

Pros

  • capturing high quality email addresses
  • onboarding
  • customer support

Cons

  • pricing is a bit high
  • not full transparency around attribution
  • not that affordable

Likelihood to Recommend

Opensend is great for anyone who is driving paid traffic to their site and looking to drive incremental revenue, if you have a meaningful amount of traffic coming to your website from paid media or press, i would recommend it. If you don't have a lot of traffic to your site, it might not be as valuable

Opensend rocks!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used Opensend to prospect anyone who might be interested in our business and to reach out to folks who might be needing our engineering services. It's always good to know who's browsing and navigating our website so it's great to have Opensend support us!

Pros

  • Identifying key potential customers
  • Pinning down on who interested in our company (contact information, etc.)
  • Ensuring we can have a higher reach and conducting outreach via marketing

Cons

  • Improving the automation on the exports of contact lists

Likelihood to Recommend

Opensend is well suited for making sure you're reaching out to those individuals who might've been interested in your company and browsed away from your website. It's a key metric to have in order to know the kinds of leads you're receiving and also learning more about your ICP. It also helps with targeting more of those same audiences.

ROI was achieved for the first 3 months during our 2-week trial...

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We started using Opensend to help us grow our email list and capture more anonymous site visitors. We spend a lot of money on Facebook and Google ads, so to be able to capture and remarket to highly engaged visitors via email has been huge for us. We also had a huge chunk of stagnant email addresses we've collected over the years we couldn't send to anymore, Opensend's Revive feature helped us bring back some 10,000 emails. It's really been a game changer for our business, ROI is a non-question.

Pros

  • Grow our email list
  • Maximize our advertising dollars
  • Revive old/stagnant/suppressed emails
  • Reduce remarketing costs

Cons

  • Their algorithm for profile engagement could be improved. Sometimes the overall engagement of profiles sent from Opensend is rather low (to be expected). They've been great about resolving that problem, so it's really a non-issue.

Likelihood to Recommend

I recommend Opensend to pretty much every other brand owner/marketer I know. It's a no-brainer for growing an email list, maximizing ad dollars, reducing retargeting, bringing back emails we already paid for but can no longer reach due to inboxing rules.

Email/SMS Marketing Agency Approved

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I run an email/sms marketing agency where we help ecom brands scale their business through email automation and consistent campaigns. We use Opensend to capture warm traffic leads and convert ehm into paying customers.

Pros

  • Captures anonymous visitor emails
  • Helps convert them into paying customers
  • Filters out interested and uninterested leads. Passes on the former.

Cons

  • Pricing could be a bit better
  • More partner integrations would be nice

Likelihood to Recommend

Opensend works great if you have the right amount of website traffic to support it. Otherwise, it may not be a good fit for you.

A game changer for our business

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We had been looking for new ways to both capture and engage our high-intent, but anonymous, customers that were just sitting on our site when we found Opensend and decided to test it out. Now we are getting over 150 high quality leads a day added to our email list. It was eye opening how much revenue was sitting untapped on our site.

Pros

  • Their team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable
  • Opensend integrated seamlessly with Shopify and Klaviyo
  • Capturing high intent leads to re-engage them

Cons

  • Features that allow for even more autonomous control
  • Even more clarity on customer journey

Likelihood to Recommend

Opensend is a very trusted data partner that identifies anonymous visitors to your site so that you can re-engage them. We were unaware just how much untapped revenue was just sitting on our site with our current site's traffic and it was extremely eye opening for us. Since installation we have added over 69k emails to our list and generated over $200k in revenue, all with this simple set-it-and-forget-it tool.

X Opensend

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Opensend to help build out our email newsletter lists and to increase engagement, thus brand awareness. This allows us to use a more engaged list much more effectively, which has become very important for a D2C brand like [...].

Pros

  • Builds out email lists from website visitors
  • Revives old emails

Cons

  • Ability to follow through - so the email lists can be tracked on platform for open rate etc.

Likelihood to Recommend

Very good for an eCommerce D2C brand taht is paying for traffic.

A great investment

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Opensend helps identify anonymous traffic and put them into a retargeting funnel. The goal is ultimately to convert this cold traffic but to also help educate prospective customers on [...]'s value props and points of difference, which aren't always apparent in a user's first site visit. Opensend allows to identify this net new traffic and curate our brand's exposure to a) build trust; and b) help to ultimately convert.

Pros

  • Easy implementation into your marketing stack
  • Terrific team with proactive communications
  • Can start identifying traffic almost immediately

Cons

  • A bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion
  • Continue to build out partner integrations

Likelihood to Recommend

Very relevant/actionable when you're driving significant net-new/prospecting traffic to your site. Even with the strongest of conversion rates, brands are not converting 93%+ of the traffic. So there's significant opportunity to identify, retarget and curate an email journey to these new folks in a brand-forward manner to help foster a purchase.
