Intuit Mailchimp was our email marketing program. We used it primary for growing our email list on our landing pages and our website. Then used some automation to connect with the new contact. Then we we used Intuit Mailchimp for our monthly email marketing campaigns for our digital agency. It was used for updates and any new projects we just completed. The biggest problem it solved was organizing our lists. It gave us the infrastructure to get our contacts in the right place.

Pricing and Confusing up charges
At the time there was a cap on images stored

The best example for our use of Intuit Mailchimp was for our monthly newsletters. We were able to create graphics, implement the newsletter. and then deploy. It was easy to use and eventually a new hire was able to take care of this process.
There was no scenarios where Intuit Mailchimp didn't "deliver" on its promises.
We have used Intuit Mailchimp for email marketing, automation and A/B testing in our communications. We are in the process of integrating to our CRM creating landing pages for lead generation. Email Blasts to larger groups for mass and general audiences. Being able to see the results of your campaigns is very helpful. The one place it is not directly suited for is tageting smaller groups of cusotmers with specific emails generated from specific criterea created in other systems then uploaded to Intuit Mailchimp.
A majority of our clients are retainer-based. However, we do take on short-term projects, and some of these clients may not fully understand the breadth of what we do. We use Intuit Mailchimp campaigns to upsell existing clients and re-engage former clients through educational content, company updates, and industry news.
Pros
User-friendly platform.
Scalable solutions.
I see Intuit Mailchimp as a consistent and trusted brand. It's one of the first and although the brand has obviously evolved over the years, I still think of it as a go-to platform for email marketing.

We use it to manage our Email Campaigns and use Automation to remind customers about purchases they did and to interact with customers who have added products to cart but did not buy those. We do use it for followup email where customers bought our products and are using then we contact them for further offers and upsells. Also, we manage multiple lists of our customers through this platform.
Pros
Contact List Management
Automation
Integration with other SaaS based softwares
Provide API which is easy to integrate
Cons
It seems a bit expensive as compared to competition
Customer support is good but still has room for improvement
Their AI feature needs improvement
Likelihood to Recommend
For any E-commerce related needs, like you need to see a list of customers who have added products to cart but did not purchase, this can be done really easily, but if your e-commerce provider provides integration, then it is best suited. Most of the systems in the Market provide out-of-the-box integration. Their API is also very easy it can be integrated to any language. You can integrate it into your custom developed system and use the features, like adding customers to specific lists. Also, if your lists become really big, then their system can get a bit slow to respond via API, so you might need a strategy for how you are gonna fetch the data using API.

Integration doesn't always work
Can be a bit clunky for the user at times

For companies that have large batches of email outreach, it is an ideal product and top of the market. I would highly recommend it to help track how emails are being delivered, who clicks or read and interacts with the emails. It also helps with deliverability by helping flag bad emails.

It’s been great for our churches, I have also used it in previous organizations to share marketing materials about upcoming events, open houses, and workshops. I would also really love to use it for our community theater except that they have something that runs through their ticketing system. When we decided to start sending our parish newsletter via email, hands-down MailChimp was my first choice. Pricing is better than constant contact
