Druva Security Cloud provides my organization with the ability to restore data from backups which also provides the ability for restoration/recovery of data.

Druva Data Security Cloud is well suited for databases, backups, and recovery. It allows me to recover information while being able to archive it securely while allowing ease of access to restore data from backups. Data Governance is also a critical piece for which I use the tool as well.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Druva Security Cloud for M365 backups across SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and OneDrive. It has immutable backups which is great in case of any attack. Druva Security Cloud makes all the data available in case it is accidently deleted by a user.

We use Druva Security Cloud to back up Executive staff and VP and director endpoints. this has been beneficial when devices have been stolen and or failed beyond repair and the user has needed to get a replacement device up and running with all their data that MAY NOT have been backed up and synced to the cloud. Druva Security Cloud has worked out great and we are very happy that we don't have to use it often and it give us piece of mind that is is securing our data in the background.

In my experience, Druva is well suited for scenarios like remote workforce data protection, Microsoft 365 compliance and recovery, and Salesforce metadata protection. Scenarios where it might be less suited could be on-premise legacy systems, and real-time file sync or collaboration.

We use Druva Security Cloud to back up our endpoints, and it has proven to be an exceptionally user-friendly solution that greatly simplifies administration. The platform enables point-in-time restores and seamless migration to new devices when needed. Additionally, we receive daily backup status reports, allowing us to quickly identify and address any issues that arise.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We were able to deploy Druva Security Cloud with ease; it helps to simplify backup management across Microsoft 365, endpoints, and AWS. The UI is clean, and the setup was fast. We especially value the ransomware protection and legal hold features. Furthermore Druva Security Cloud help to reduce our backup cost the administrative tasks.

We use Druva Security Cloud to backup and secure our 0365 and Entra ID environment. It keeps our data secure with immutability and makes all the data readily available in case data is accidentally deleted by a user or they need an older version of an email or document. It also helps us restore groups and users in Entra.

  • Backing up more information on devices, specifially bitlocker keys

I literally just restored some deleted data from a Sharepoint site where my users was super nervous about it. The ease of doing the restore and then the speed of performing the actual restore was awesome. It's so nice to have that sense of security that Druva Security Cloud is there to save the day.

They also do a great job of making the setup easy and once it's setup you just forget about it until you need to restore data. It's great. I've never had an instance where the data Druva Security Cloud backed up is corrupt or missing.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Druva Security Cloud for O365 backups as well as EntraID. It is currently being used to backup OneDrive, Exchange Online, Sharepoint sites, and Teams.

Pros

  • Auto scales to backup everything efficiently.
  • Different profiles to help utilize different retention for different circumstances.

Cons

  • We temporarily had some issues with licensing that were resolved quickly. Licensing between licensed users and preserved users could be easier to understand.
