Site to Site VPN is very lacking - cant select hosts must select full networks license cost adds up fast smaller MX devices are underpowered - next step up is significantly more expensive. … For anything larger, Cisco Meraki MX isn't really the best fit due to the high license cost and lack of customization.

Ubiquiti does not have ongoing license fees, and their devices are seriously less expensive than Meraki, so when the budget is tight, you go with Unifi. … The greatest negative impact is the license fees - they are expensive!

Then users are left with an old model that is now an expensive paperweight, as you can't even redeploy at home without spending on a monthly license. … There isn't really an option for purchasing "premium support." We have the support that is provided with the license subscription.
