Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use AEP to host our marketing and sales data for specific use cases. Activating profiles with RT-CDP to various destinations are seamless and very easy to execute. We also use CJA for reporting and since it’s based on AEP, there is definitely a lot of customer data we are able to analyze, especially between offline and online channels. <div>
</div><div>We are also able to measure customer experience using our call center data with online behaviours. This tool helps with value realisation especially with our marketing investments. </div>
Pros

- Flexibility around how many sources and destinations can be used to move data
Cons
- Some basic reporting flexibility within AEP would be useful without dependencies on CJA.
- More AI driven recommendations for campaign/profile activations would be helpful.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think AEP is ahead of its competitors when it comes to hosting customer data for various use cases. It’s seamless integration with other Adobe products like AJO or CJA make it a very compelling overall package. <div>
</div><div>It may not be very applicable for smaller or medium sized businesses. There could be an opportunity for Adobe to bring in a trimmed down version for such customers. </div>
